Things 1-800-SERIOUS:
This month, we were in court about an interesting question concerning guest passengers and the difference between gross and ordinary negligence.
The tidbit that we pass along is this: "If you are injured as a result of the negligent actions of the driver of the car that you are riding in (not unlike the lady in the hot tub), you may be able to recover for really stupid and grossly negligent conduct."
